Essie is a full time artist whose landscapes, portraits, and street scenes in both watercolor and oil have been exhibited in Pennsylvania and Florida and widely praised for their finely tuned composition and use of color.
Her works have been selected for more than a dozen exhibitions and juried competitions and have won numerous awards, including two first prizes and a Best in Show. Most recently her watercolor ---"Silver Bowl with Fruit"--- was a featured piece in the Pittsburgh Watercolor Society’s 62nd Annual International “Aqueous Open”. An earlier work, “Pears That Dance” was selected for a Pennsylvania Watercolor Society Show. Essie is a member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, The Florida Watercolor Society, The Long boat Key Center for the Arts and Art Center Sarasota. Prints can be ordered on paper or canvas in a number of sizes. |
